Here’s a cool freebie that I’ll definitely be watching at dotster. I’ve never registered a domain outside Godaddy.com but this opportunity to snap a free .com .net or .org domain is just too tempting to resist. Dotster will be giving away a total of 500 free domains in exactly 3 days as of this writing. Count it! At exactly 3 days those who are logged on to dotster will have a sort of landrush for domain names.
I guess I’ll be on it but being my cynical self I can’t help but wonder what’s the catch? Is it totally free… taxes, ICANN fee at all?
